Entrance Description:
Videos of bustling crowds in various locations of New Orleans appear on the tron as "Daughters of Darkness" by Halestorm blasts on the P.A. system. Tanja comes out onto the top of the ramp in a style compared to Gail Kim during her early time in TNA before heading down the ramp with some of her black leather coat flows at her feet while the mix of boos and jeers and cheers from the crowd fills the arena.

Announcer: Coming to the ring hailing from New Orleans, Louisina; she is the Cajun Queen, Tanja Devereaux

Tanja enters the ring under the bottom rope and jumps onto the middle turnbuckle. She poses as she does her usual taunt with a hand and arm in the air as "Daughters of Darkness" continues to play. Tanja steps off the turnbuckle as she reomves the leather coat and throws it into a random corner.

Gimmick: A mix between Roxxi Leveaux and the Undertaker. Someone who holds a strong spiritual belief and she will make sure that everyone hears it whenever she does her promotional. She tends to represent the Barons of Death and will remind everyone that they never know when their path of life will come to an end.


Personality: Very eccentric and feisty. She has a strong zeal for life and strong spiritual belief. She never holds back against anyway.

Superstar Biography:

Born in the bayous of New Orleans, Louisiana to a middle-class Cajun family on her father’s side and upper middle-class family on her mother’s with the birth name of Tara Marie Devereaux; Tanja is a savvy backwards Cajun that had her own way of doing things that many could never dream/imagine. She was known to sometimes get under the skin of those around her because of some odd habits that she had. Tara was an only child and she was somewhat spoiled growing up but she never allowed it to go to her head as she remained a humble human being. Despite her upbringing, Tara remained quite an eccentric character and she tended to listen to the beat of her own drum despite peoples’ thought of her eccentricities. Tanja and her eccentric antics were known to many people and they were quite vocal about it but she always found a way to make a dry, witty or savvy retort to whatever people had to say about her and her ways. Tanja was introduced to the spiritual world while at Layola University and she embraced what she learned during her times in the bayous despite her deep and strong Catholic roots while growing up. She has gained some abilities and strengths from that spiritual world but occasionally shares it during a promo. She spent a lot of time walking among the cemeteries and bayous that are world known to the city of New Orleans. She was a known protector of the “Cities of the Dead” and she would send a message to anyone who would mess around with any of the city’s cemeteries. Despite all the walking around the cemeteries, Tanja holds life as sacred and will not do anything to disrupt the path of life. Tanja had been a fan of wrestling since she was a teenager and it wasn’t until later that she wanted to get into the business as a wrestler. Her mother had her misgivings about Tanja going into wrestling; she wanted Tanja to have a sound educational background in case Tanja couldn’t make it. Despite her mother’s misgiving about wrestling, Tara did go to Loyola University and obtained 2 bachelor’s degrees in the process: one in Culture and Languages and another in Mass Communications. Again, going against her mother, Tanja worked her way through school in order to pay for her tuition and books instead of relying on her mother’s money. While she was studying at Loyola University, Tara trained with some of the names in the world of wrestling that were willing to take her on as a student: Sara Del Ray, Christopher Daniels, Steve Corino, Victoria. While Tara was training, she made sure to take in seminars while she was on the road to meet up with her trainers. Her first contract was in 2010 in Alabama and despite the changes she had to make, Tanja kept herself going to survive. When she started, she was known as a feisty and eccentric face from the South with the loyalty to the business but over time, her supernatural and spirital side has slowly warped her to a darker side to the Barons(Loa) of Death and be occasional heel. Depending on her mood, she would be a face or heel.
